TTRPG & LARP
Outside of video games, I write, design and produce both tabletop and live action role-playing games. My TTRPGs have been nominated for awards, and my LARPs have been played by over 100 participants.
Hollyhock - Lead designer, Writer
Hollyhock is an award-nominated TTRPG about fae creatures, high society, and an eternal prank war. The book is roughly 100 pages long, complete with 8 playbooks and 7 archetypes that can be combined to make 56 unique character types. The book contains a full, unique game system that prioritizes the story of the characters, and engages the players in the joy and chaos of the Hollyhock Festival.

On this project I led the game's mechanic and narrative design, and contributed heavily to the writing.

As part of development, we discussed Hollyhock with industry professionals Jay Dragon and Benjamin Rosenbaum. The discussion was published as an episode of the Mohanraj and Rosenbaum are Humans podcast, which you can find here. Hollyhock has also been nominated for the IndieCade 2023 Tabletop Design Award.

Tales of Anywhere - Story lead

Tales of Anywhere was a live-action role-playing (LARP) experience, written and produced in 2022 for The Wayfinder Experience. In this and my other Wayfinder projects, I was in charge of world design, character design, game mechanics, and plot. I also wrote extensive lists and documentation for the art and production departments, to explain how the game was supposed to look and feel.
Additionally, during the event, I was in charge of organizing production teams to ensure that everything needed for the game would be complete, and managing the casting and performance of the game itself.

While the documentation for Tales of Anywhere is not publicly available, check out the documentation for another one of my Wayfinder LARPs, Blood Ties. The styles are consistent throughout all of my Wayfinder games.
